Tourney Projection: Michigan Out

Unsurprisingly, Michigan doesn’t fall into the NCAA tournament projections offered this week by SEBaseball.com. The encouraging news is two Big10 teams are listed on the projection in Ohio State and Minnesota. Ohio State is currently a #1 seed (!) overall and hosting. Minnesota makes it in as an at-large #2 seed (!) at a tough Cal State Fullerton regional squaring off with Arizona in the opening game. CSF is the overall number one seed, with OSU being the last #1. Its good to see the Big10 getting enough credibility with a Rivals board. The Big10 looks to regain its success in the tournament from 2007 when 3 teams (Michigan, Minnesota, and OSU) made the tournament.
