This site is my area to work on my writing as it pertains to my life. My interests, predominantly Michigan baseball, umpiring, and school (forced interests count, too) will all be covered, as well as the occasional thoughts on items I find on the internet. I’m an avid reader of the NY Times, The Economist, ThinkProgress.org, the Houston Chronicle, several Texas Politics sites, New Scientist, Popular Science, the New Yorker, and several sports medias. Occasionally I dabble in journalism about journalism as well, as I find writing and reporting to be quite interesting.
This area also will serve as a drafting platform for my work on mgoblog.com.
